Startups are the future of the economy

5/5(1)

(Sponsored post) Today's innovative founders are tomorrow's SMEs. They are bringing with them new business models and new products that could change entire industries. They create jobs, provide training, use retail and office space, and pay taxes to the cities where they are based. Who are these innovative startups? What drives you? How can they be supported on their path to success?

Startups stand for departure, change, renewal

Sylvia Tiews, head of the well-known start-up competition start2grow, has the right answers to these questions. “Every day there are classic start-ups in trades or commerce, in established sectors such as healthcare or the creative industries. But more and more often there are also inventions, researches and strong innovations with which people become self-employed, who break through familiar processes, known processes, industry conditions and think in completely new ways. The new tagline for this is “disruption.” It stands for departure, change, renewal”.

Offering start-ups the best conditions for a successful start into self-employment is a stated goal of the start2grow start-up competition. Therefore, each business plan development competition offers one-on-one coaching, knowledge transfer in seminars and workshops, and cash prizes and special prizes for excellent business plans. And the success stories of the founders prove that this offer is used and really helps.

Award winners on the road to success

“Two newcomers from 2016, 'Point 8' and 'FinanzRitter', are good examples of how our concept works. These two startups were winners of the start2grow | competition start-ups 36 and have made intensive use of the contacts with consultants, industry experts and investors who have arisen in this context to build the company,” explains Sylvia Tiews.

The three founders of “Point 8″ are big data specialists and use their know-how as a service provider for companies and organizations with data analysis, machine learning and simulations. “In the start2grow business development competition, we were able to put our business plan to the test. In addition to the 4th place in the competition, we are also delighted with a large network and strong partners who are now accompanying us on our way,” explains Dr. Christophe Cauet, Managing Director of Point 8 and new face of the groundbreaking start2grow campaign.

It always inspires me when we can accompany the founders on their way to success in the future.
